13th Annual LISD/UISD Back to School Health Fair
HELP participated in the 13th Annual LISD/UISD Back to School Health Fair at Sames Auto Arena, joining local organizations in supporting Laredo families as they prepared for the new school year. During the event, HELP distributed school supplies to students and shared information about its free community programs, including VITA Laredo, which provides free income tax preparation services to eligible individuals and families, and the Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera (VAF), which connects community members with financial education, guidance, and resources. The event also provided families with access to backpacks and school supplies, health care application assistance, community resources, sports physicals, and immunizations.
